This welcoming and delightful little resort is a haven for wildlife lovers and skiing is just around the corner at the nearby Marmot Basin located in the stunning Jasper National Park. Glittering forests, frozen lakes, glaciers and waterfalls form the backdrop for a range of activities from ice canyon walks and dog-sledging to the wildlife safaris, plus the ski areas of Jasper are renowned for uncrowded slopes and dry powder snow.
At 1700 metres, Marmot boasts the highest base elevation of all Canadian ski resorts and enjoys frequent heavy snowfall when it’s raining in the valley. Jasper offers a choice of lively bars and restaurants, a friendly atmosphere plus a direct 20-minute bus ride from your hotel to the slopes.
