There is something for everybody in Larnaca. Based on the ruins of the ancient city of Citium, it is the third biggest town in Cyprus and it has an abundance of attractions to appreciate. Regardless of whether you're relaxing with a cocktail on a long white sea shore, scuba diving among wrecks, investigating Byzantine places of worship and mansions or delicately walking around the coastline promenade as the nightfalls, you will wind up lost in tranquility. A laid-back spot with some marvellous cafés and bars.
The focal point of Larnaca lies in its sea shores. Sparkling, brilliant and with luminous sky blue waters, the town is the perfect place for a beach holiday. There is an entire host of activities to appreciate, from scuba-diving to windsurfing, also the rich shoreline cafés and bistros line the popular Finikoudes Promenade. Mckenzie Beach, a blue-banner beach, is ideal for a comfortable swim or relaxed day spent on a sunlounger.
