Colony Island Safari - This complimentary scenic island tour takes guests to the picturesque East Coast of the island with stops at Bathsheba, Cherry Tree Hill and a local rum shop as well as the magnificent St Nicholas Abbey and Hunte's Garden. Crystal Cove by Elegant Hotels
Rum Shop initiation – It is said there is a rum shop on every corner of Barbados and that liming (Bajan slang for relaxing) at a local village rum shop is an essential part of the Bajan experience. Crystal Cove staff will coach guests on how to ‘lime’ by teaching them rum shop games such as dominoes, a national obsession in Barbados. Guests will also drink rum based forfeits and sample local rum shop snacks.
Turtle Beach by Elegant Hotels
Pepperpot Culinary Tour – Guests will visit Hastings Farmers Market with locally grown organic vegetables, produce, arts and crafts and more, then onto Oistins Fishing Village for a first-hand look at the fishing village by day. The tour concludes with a live cooking demo at Turtle Beach featuring Barbados’ national dish, Cou-Cou & Flying Fish.
