An exclusive lodge, Savanna is situated in the internationally famous Sabi Sand Reserve within the Greater Kruger National Park conservancy and traverses over 10,000 hectares of the pristine African bushveld and prides itself on delivering exceptional safaris, with the emphasis on game viewing. 

This intimate lodge is home to nine suites that offer spacious and luxurious accommodation, each with its own deck and plunge pool. Seven of the suites have tented roofs, blending the elegance of a by-gone colonial era with all the convenience of modern facilities. The beautifully appointed suites nestle among indigenous bush and trees that provide privacy, quiet and a haven for birds.

The Main Lodge consists of a bar, wine cellar, dining area, loft library and a spacious patio looking over the pool and indigenous gardens to one of five waterholes that surround the lodge and offer fantastic views of game drinking and bathing. Gourmet dining is an essential part of the Savanna experience with traditional local dishes adding spice to international fare. Dynamic menus are complemented with award-winning wines from the well-stocked cellar.

Famous for having the best leopard viewing in the world, the Sabi Sand area is known worldwide as 'The Land of the Leopard' and it is not unusual to see lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo and rhinos in a single game drive. Specially designed game viewing vehicles and highly trained guides with vast knowledge of the African bushveld take guests on close and intimate encounters with a large variety of wildlife. Optional game walks are also offered to guests who would like to experience the fauna and flora on foot. Numerous nearby dams and a series of waterholes in front of the lodge attract many species, especially in the dry winter months when elephants are daily visitors.
