Delaire Graff Estate is surrounded by sweeping views across stunning vineyards and mountains towards Stellenbosch, one of the world’s leading wine destinations. This incredible location provides a sense of escape and privacy for the guests of the Estate’s Lodges and Spa.
The Estate is a haven for art aficionados offering a chance to view some of Laurence Graff’s personal art collection in an outstanding setting. Laurence Graff is recognised as one of the world’s leading art collectors, the collection at the Estate is a carefully curated showcase of some of South Africa’s finest contemporary artists.
Guests can also enjoy the beautifully landscaped gardens that have been created by celebrity horticulturalist Keith Kirsten - his extensive knowledge of African flora creates an spectacular display day after day. Throughout the gardens there are spectacular sculptures by Deborah Bell and Anton Smit while Dylan Lewis’ towering cheetahs, cast from sold bronze, grace the Estate’s landscape.
The ten sumptuously decorated lodges, each with their own private plunge pool, invite complete relaxation in an idyllic setting. Each has been designed with the discerning traveller in mind, they are generously proportioned lodges and thoughtfully conceived with careful attention to detail. Spacious living spaces and light filled interiors flow seamlessly outdoors where guests can choose to dip into their private plunge pool or relax while sipping on a chilled glass of wine. The private kitchens have been stocked with everything from organic coffee and specialist teas to the finest handmade chocolates. Here, guests can enjoy art and design, gourmet foods and award winning wines and a world class Spa, featuring a range of products and exclusive treatments.
For a more active experience, excursions include vineyard walks, wine tasting and visits to the historic towns of nearby Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.
Each of the 10 Lodges at Delaire Graff offer wireless internet, an LED flat screen TV, luxury bathroom products from Aromatherapy Associates, fine cotton linen, pillow menu and personal Bose music station.
The Luxury Lodges are approximately 80sqm and have views of the Stellenbosch Valley, Simonsberg Mountain Range & Estate vineyards. Each Lodge has a private heated pool and terrace, a butler’s kitchen. All Lodge bedrooms are en-suite with a separate seating area. Maximum occupancy: 2 adults

The spacious Owners Lodge is approximately 130sqm in size and features a log fireplace and dining area with views of the Stellenbosch Valley, Table Mountain and the Estate vineyards. It has a private heated pool and terrace, a butler’s kitchen and all Lodge bedrooms are en-suite with a separate seating area. Maximum occupancy: 4 adults or 2 adults & 2 children.

The Delaire Graff Restaurant
Here guests can enjoy classic bistro favourites with the finest South African touches. Overlooking a sea of vineyards and olive groves planted on the Simonsberg, the views from the terrace span all the way into the Banhoek Valley.Inside, the David Collins Studio designed interiors include curving orange leather banquettes and handpicked art.
Asian-inspired cuisine at Indochine is an evocative, fine dining food theatre, where delicate flavours come alive and each dish is synonymous with vitality, wellness and healthy living. Discover Asian tapas turned into an art form, or experience a tea ceremony, find signature dishes like pork belly and duck – everything is served to create an all-sensory dining experience. Inside, a vibrant blue and copper colour palette creates a calming backdrop. Dine under the stunning Swallows in Flight art installation, sculpted by Lionel Smit and Andre Stead, where over 1300 swallows become part of the incredible views that stretch across to Table Mountain.
Children are welcome at Delaire however there are no specific facilities for them. Babysitting can be arranged Families are superbly accommodated in The Owners and the Presidential Lodge both of which have two bedrooms.
