Dining at Young Island under romantic thatched kiosks near the beach or in the dining room surrounded by tropical gardens is a memorable experience. Every night, guests can enjoy elegant buffets or a la carte five course dinners prepared by award-winning chefs. Fresh fruits and vegetables are abundant, along with our gourmet selections featuring fish, beef, pork, and chicken. Breakfast offers such delights as flaming rum French toast and our outstanding cheese omelettes.

Children of all ages are welcome at Young Island year round. Children under 6 years are not allowed in the restaurant or bar in the evenings, but the hotel can provide early dinners for younger guests and babysitters for the evenings. Children under 7 years old are not accepted on the ‘Sailaway’ packages.

Weddings can be arranged at Young Island. Their wedding package includes the services of a wedding co-ordinator, your choice of location and a wedding arch, a bouquet for the bride, a button hole for the groom, a bottle of champagne and hors d’oeuvres for the bride and groom, a photographer with 24 prints (4 X 6”) in an album with negatives, a wedding cake, a candlelit dinner in your cottage on the wedding eve, champagne breakfast in bed on the morning of the wedding, fees for the marriage certificate and registrar, fee for the ordained minister, round-trip transfers for obtaining license. Further extras are available upon request.

Young Island is an idyllic location for honeymoons and it is recommended that you opt for the ‘Lover’s Weekly Package’ or ‘Sailaway Package’. There are no specific honeymoon offers at the hotel
