The second of Seabourn’s new class of ships, Seabourn Sojourn, was also built at T. Mariotti yard in Genoa. Her debut was on June 6, 2010 in the middle of the River Thames in London. Seabourn Sojourn’s godmother was the English fashion icon and actress Twiggy. Like her sisters, Seabourn Sojourn enchants her guests with an array of public areas scaled to encourage a relaxed sociability.
One of the most unusual features of Seabourn Sojourn and her sisters is Seabourn Square, an ingenious “living room” that replaces the traditional cruise ship lobby with a welcoming lounge filled with easy chairs, sofas and cocktail tables. An enclave in its centre houses knowledgeable concierges discreetly seated at individual desks, ready to handle all sorts of business or give advice and information. The ship’s shops are conveniently located just off the Square and it has its own open terrace.
The Spa at Seabourn is the largest on any ultra-luxury ship, 11,400 square feet encompassing indoor and outdoor space over two decks. A variety of open terraces are scattered over seven decks, offering places to gather with a few friends or spend an isolated hour with a book. Seabourn Sojourn offers six whirlpools and two swimming pools, including the Pool Patio, with a pair of large whirlpool spas and a “beach” style pool, a casual Patio Grill and the Patio Bar.
On the sun deck above sits Seabourn’s popular open-air Sky Bar. High atop Deck 11 is a Sun Terrace with 36 tiered double sun beds. The Retreat features shuffleboard courts and a nine-hole putting green. The panoramic Observation Bar on Deck 10 offers 270° forward views over the sea. The Club is a lively spot for dancing before and after dinner, while the larger Grand Salon is used for dancing as well as lectures, production vocal shows, cabaret performances and classical recitals.

The Restaurant is the main dining venue of the ship and is an elegant setting to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. All meals are served in an open seating style allowing guests to eat when and where they wish.
This is an intimate restaurant where on alternate nights you can enjoy a gastronomic tasting menu or a regionally themed bistro-style dinner. Reservations are required at Restaurant 2 - no extra charge is made for dining at any of the ships restaurants.
The Colonnade is located on deck 8 and enjoys and extensive indoor and outdoor dining area where you can indulge in lavish buffet breakfasts and lunch and waiter service themed evening meals.
Located on deck 8 the patio grill and bar is a casual pool dining setting where grilled specialities and salads are served both at lunch and in the evening as well as freshly baked pizzas throughout the afternoon. The bar area is a great place to enjoy a cool refreshing drink or ice cream.
Located above the navigation bridge on deck 10 this bar and lounge is a great place to soak up the panoramic views. If you are an early riser and love to watch the sunrise then this is the place to be where you can enjoy a hot cup of tea or morning coffee as you slowly start the day.
The Sky Bar is situated on a terrace overlooking the pool deck below and is a popular place to meet for drinks.
By day you can enjoy relaxing daily afternoon teas whilst by night this is much more of a lively bar and lounge and a popular place for dancing to live music before and after dinner. There is also a DJ on hand each night playing music late into the night.
The Grand Salon can accommodate all guests on board and by day is the focal point for lectures, cooking demonstrations and movies. By night, the lights come down and the entertainment begins with live bands for those who enjoy a pre-dinner dance as well as after dinner entertainment such as comedy, classical recitals and cabaret shows.
For guests 18 years or older the small Casino allows you to try your hand at a variety of classic Casino games and slot machines.
Telephone calls can be made direct from each suite. Seabourn Square is where you will find internet and computer facilities including Microsoft Office Software, web browsers and a printer.
A complimentary self-service laundry is located on deck 5. A dry cleaning and pressing service is also available.
The ship's licensed and registered doctor and nurse are on 24-hour call for professional and emergency services, which are available at customary charges. The medical centre is designed to provide medical care for temporary illnesses and accidents only.
The Spa at Seabourn is an award-winning spa offering a wide range of treatments and rituals by highly skilled staff. There is a fully equipped gym, a motion studio featuring a Kinesis Wall and Thai massage area as well as a beauty salon as well as saunas, steam rooms and a wide range of treatment and pampering sessions. There is also a thermal area and a large hydro-pool.
Situated on deck 10 this is the upper level of The Spa containing a private Spa villa and an outdoor relaxation cabana and small whirlpool for all Spa guests.
This is an expansive sun deck surrounding the central swimming pool and two large whirlpool spas. Surrounding the pool there are sun loungers and cabanas with a good choice of sun and shade. Live music and dancing can be enjoyed on occasions at the stage area situated on the pool patio.
With 36 double sun beds set up on deck 11 this is a great place to relax and enjoy some sunshine.
The ship has a fold-out water sports Marina that can be deployed when the ship is at anchor in certain locations. Once deployed, the Marina provides a platform where guests can enjoy board sailing, water-skiing, banana boat rides, pedal boats and kayaks. The Marina also has a stainless steel mesh enclosure that permits protected swimming in the sea.
This is a multi-use plaza with a 9-hole golf putting green and two shuffleboard courts.
For those who like to keep fit there is a fully equipped gym with cardio and resistance equipment. There are also complimentary yoga and pilates classes as well as a private trainer.
For those who enjoy a game of bridge or a board game or the more contemporary Wii games on the large screen then this is the place to head for some light entertainment.
Replacing the conventional lobby and reception area is Seabourn's innovative "living room" with its welcoming lounge, comfy armchairs and cocktail tables where you can enjoy a speciality coffee and pastry. 24-hour assistance is available 7 days a week and for guests wishing to make shore-side arrangements, the Concierge is available to assist with knowledgeable suggestions and will help with any offshore arrangements. The Library is also located in Seabourn Square and is perfect for those who like to curl up with a good book, the on board library offers an extensive selection of hardcover books, magazines, reference materials and newspapers. The eight computer work stations are a popular place to catch up with those back up or carry out some research on your approaching destination.
Situated mid ship is where you will find the duty-free shop selling fine jewellery, perfumes and fashion items to name but a few.
