Posh Nosh & Water's Edge Dining

Posh Nosh ~ Spot the Stars

Nowhere in the Caribbean can match Barbados for its superb quality and choice in dining. With so many restaurants to choose, we’ve highlighted a selection of our own tried and tested favourites. The West Coast of Barbados plays host to chic oceanfront dining including the vibrant Lone Star serving European fare (look out for the beer battered cod and mushy peas!), whilst the elegant Tides Restaurant serves fresh seafood and superb meat dishes in exquisite surrounds. Those seeking the wow factor will be impressed by the dramatic and spectacular setting at The Cliff which is the island’s most exclusive (and expensive!) restaurant. Diners looking for a more relaxed ambience will enjoy The Fish Pot’s fresh Caribbean dishes whilst the Camelot Restaurant at Cobblers Cove boasts the only Relais & Châteaux dining on the island.

Water's Edge Dining ~ Trendy Hot Spots

The well-known and much-loved Daphne’s also offers relaxed dining and serves a classic Italian style menu with a contemporary twist. Trendy hot spots include Cin Cin by the Sea which serves Mediterranean fare with a Caribbean twist in al fresco and air-conditioned settings, whilst new kids on the block include Hugo’s in Speightstown and Nikki Beach, the islands newest and most hip eatery. No trip to Barbados is complete without a visit to the rugged East Coast where The Atlantis serves a superb Bajan Sunday buffet. On the South of the island, Champers and Primo are each superb and hold their own against the West Coast establishments.
