The resort comprises of just 42 private luxuriously appointed Bedouin style suites that enjoy complete seclusion with views out to the lush oasis and the red-tinged desert plains and Hajar Mountains. The elegant and stylish suites have been carefully dotted across the dune crests where from time to time, you come across wild, free-roaming Oryx and other desert wildlife. Lazy, secluded days by your own private pool can lead to sociable evenings in the elegant hotel bar with its broad terraces and desert plain views, making this the idyllic spot to end the day with a glass of something chilled close to hand.

There are 37 Bedouin Suites (75sqm), each enjoying their own private space amidst the quiet resort surroundings. The charming interiors feature antiques and artefacts from the region with thoughtful added extras such as binoculars and an easel for anyone feeling creative! These elegant suites are simply idyllic with their never ending vista of dramatic desert and mountain views set against your very own temperature controlled (5 x 4 metre) pool and private deck. The 2 Royal Suites (175 sq metres) combine the richest comfort with an authentic ambience inspired by regional artefacts and antiques. Two luxurious bedrooms and a large lounge offer a relaxing experience whilst the spacious terrace with its sizeable (7 x 5 metre) pool is complemented by expansive views out into the open desert. Together with exemplary service and delightful surroundings, the Royal Suites offer an exclusive experience and a sense of unparalleled peace. Sleeps 4 adults.
The 2 Emirates Suites (375 sq metres) are set away from the main resort and offer comfort and luxury. Each has two large bedrooms and a spacious lounge, incorporating a dining area, as well as a courtyard and deck around the pool for alfresco dining and relaxing. Residential quarters for your private staff and a kitchen of generous proportions allow a degree of autonomy away from the main resort. The Emirates Suites provide a stylish haven to relax in the company of friends and family or entertain in style. The Presidential Suite is the finest there is to offer at Al Maha. With 530 square metres of stunning luxury, three large bedrooms and opulent bathrooms to match, the suite is designed for the ultimate in sophistication. With every extravagance catered for, including quarters for your private staff, the Presidential Suite is the perfect place to relax or entertain whether it is by the large 10 x 8 metre pool or enjoying the privacy of your very own courtyard. Al Maha meals can take place on the Al Diwaan restaurant terrace - with delightful views out over the desert during the day and beautiful dusk vistas and flaming torches in the evenings.
Breakfast is served both buffet and a la carte with hot dishes made fresh in the kitchen - options include egg dishes such as omelettes and Eggs Benedict, steak, waffles, pancakes, crepes and some local favourites.
Lunch can be as light or as filling as you wish with choices including salads, fish and meats from the grill as well as Al Maha favourites - the Kobe Beef sandwich and Fish & Chips!
Dinner brings a whole different level of culinary experience with an amazing array of gourmet dishes served with an amuse bouche to begin and a sorbet between the starter & main courses.
As well as the meals on offer in the hotel’s restaurant, guests can partake of afternoon tea on the Lounge Bar Terrace with a mouth-watering array of delicate pastries, homemade cakes and scones with clotted cream and preserves.
Guests also have the opportunity to dine in their own suites or even out in the desert - picnics during the day or romantic torchlit dinners with your own chef and butler.

Al Maha does not cater for children under 12 years of age. Children 12 years and over can be accommodated in their own suite.
